Are the damages on your antique furniture repairable and do you really need to spend a money on restoring your antique furniture?  These kind of questions are the most common we have been asked from many people and the answer is "YES"

Depending on the type of damages, majority of them are repairable and it's worth it to spend a money on repairing and restoring your antique furniture if you have one. All of the furniture inherited to us from our ancestors, have sturdiness and quality that it can't be find in most of the new build furniture.

Our predecessors had the knowledge of using elementarily tools and materials to build a sturdy piece of furniture which will last for many years and that's why restoring the antique furniture is very important.

One of the reason I am enjoying working with the antique furniture is that although the variety of the material was limited back then, the furniture has been built by a good quality. If you take a closer look to the  solid veneer on an old antique table and the piece of new veneer, for example, you can see the difference on the quality clearly and that makes the furniture sturdy and unique and it's amazing that they didn't sacrifice the quality for anything else.

Along with the quality, every piece of antique furniture has a unique character which needs to be kept while the furniture is going to be restored. It's very important to keep the details on the furniture because that shows how careful the builder was about the details and wanted to show the uniqueness of that piece by using specific details on each and every piece of furniture and it's our responsibility to keep the details as much as we can to be able to transfer the beauty of the furniture to the next generations.

By spending money on restoring the antique furniture, not only the value of the furniture has been saved, but also, the  art and creativity power of our predecessors will be transfer to the next generations and they can see how powerful the people and their knowledge were in the past.
